Log in to your elvex account and start by exploring the apps your Admin has already enabled. The initial set of apps you see may include templates created by elvex as well as apps that have been purpose built for your company by your colleagues.

Starting a new chat with an existing app is a great way to easily get familiarized with the platform, but remember that the apps might require further personalization to meet your exact needs.

Once acquainted with the existing apps, why not try creating a new one? It's easy, and AI assisted. When creating a new app, you can start by entering the name of the app you want to create. But then you can click the "AI Assistant" button to the top right of any of the fields and get suggestions on what to enter in each field so your app will have the best possible instructions. If you have been granted the relevant permissions, go ahead and create a new data source. Click "Datasources" in the left-side navigation panel, add a name and description, and select the file(s) you want to include.

Datasources allow you to provide your app with the specific knowledge it will need to accomplish the tasks you will eventually be asking it to complete. Datasources could be things like product documentation, company handbooks, user feedback you'd like to distill into actionable insights, and much more.
