My assistant is not appearing in Slack
If your assistant doesn't appear in the /elvex list
command:
Verify the assistant is not set to "Disabled" in Slack Settings
Check that you have the correct permissions to use the assistant
Ensure the Elvex Slack app is properly installed in your workspace

I'm having permission errors
If users receive permission errors:
For "Match elvex permissions" setting, verify:
The user has an Elvex account
The user has permission to use the assistant in Elvex
The user's Slack email matches their Elvex email
For "All Slack users" setting, verify:
The assistant is set to Public visibility in Elvex
The user is a member of your Slack workspace (not a guest)
My assistant isn't working in Shared Channels
If the assistant doesn't work in shared channels:
Verify "Allow Shared Channels" is enabled
Check that the appropriate permission model is selected
Does elvex show cited datasources in Slack?
